Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using WorldCup Planner, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Service Description

WorldCup Planner is an AI-powered travel planning platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Our service includes:

AI Trip Plan Generation — Personalized itineraries based on your budget, dates, host cities, and team preferences, covering matches, accommodation, transport, food, and cultural activities.
Free Travel Tools — Currency converter, scam checker, translator, eSIM finder, city comparison, safety guides, and more.
Community Features — Fan meetups, group planning, shared plans, and community discussions.
Premium Features — Section-level re-planning, priority generation, PDF export, and additional customization options.

Important: Plans are generated based on your inputs and should be verified with official sources (FIFA, airlines, hotels, embassies) before making travel arrangements. We provide planning assistance, not booking services.

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you agree to the following:

Currency	All prices are listed in USD. Paddle may convert to your local currency at the current exchange rate.
Taxes	Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) are calculated by Paddle based on your location and added at checkout.
Credit System	Plans are generated using credits. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Purchased credits do not expire.
Refunds	Full refund within 24 hours if the plan has not been generated. See our Refund Policy for details.
Subscriptions	Monthly subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel anytime — you retain access until the end of your billing period.

AI-Generated Content

Trip plans are generated by AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) and may contain inaccuracies. Please understand the following:

Always verify visa requirements, flight schedules, ticket availability, and hotel bookings with official sources before making travel arrangements or financial commitments.

Account Responsibility

When you create an account with WorldCup Planner, you agree to:

Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information during registration.

Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account with others.

Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Not use the service for any unlawful purpose, spam, or to harass other users.

Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service or its AI-generated content for commercial redistribution.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to exploit the platform.

Referral Program

WorldCup Planner offers a referral program to reward users who introduce new customers:

Reward: $5 credit for both the referrer and the referred user.

Eligibility: Credits are applied when the referred user completes their first purchase.

Restrictions: Credits cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to other users, or used retroactively. Self-referrals are not permitted.

Abuse: We reserve the right to revoke credits and ban accounts engaged in fraudulent referral activity (fake accounts, spam, etc.).

Limitation of Liability

WorldCup Planner provides travel planning assistance, not travel booking or insurance services. Our liability is limited as follows:

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to WorldCup Planner in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, travel disruptions, missed flights, or accommodation issues.
We are not responsible for actions or failures of third-party services (airlines, hotels, FIFA, payment processors).
AI-generated content is provided "as-is" without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
